We have had verbal confirmations from approx. 85 pilots so far, and
we expect hundreds of spectators. I
also want to encourage each of you to thank our demo pilots during the
Jumbo...Sean McMurtry, Blaine Austin, and Jason Danhakl for sacrificing
their time to make our Jumbo 2005 what it has become.

Randall called the meeting
to order and began with an update on the construction going on around the
field. Randall noted the Heli
shelter was completed thanks to Bill Barrows and all those that helped.
Bill said he hoped to have the power installed within the next
couple of weeks. Bill
explained that the plan was to install one four plex (in layman’s terms,
a box with four outlets) installed at each shelter.
It was then noted that the
land south of
31st street
was sold and the intention is to build on it.
At this point there is not a lot known about the future plans for
the land however, concern was raised about the affects on us.

It was stated that we know
little about the plans however, to our knowledge there will be no effects
on our field or flying rights.
A visitor was introduced as
Josh was introduced and was asking for help with a trainer.
Josh was introduced to Jerry Summers.
Tim then provided an update on the Jumbo.
Tim noted that according to the listing on RCUniverse.com
we had approximately 83 pilots coming to the event.
All areas of the Jumbo were thoroughly discussed.
It was noted that we needed many volunteers to keep up with
parking, impound area,
