2006 WAR-BIRD Fly-in

I received a message from Patrick Boyne asking if someone in the Glue Dobbers might be interested in purchasing equipment, airplanes and etc., which he and his father purchased and never had time to play, start or fly.  Anyone interested in the possibility there may be some good equipment please contact Patrick at pboyne@cox.net.  He is local here in Tulsa .

Hello fellow modelers.

My name is Steve Keesey, I am a member of the Westside RC  Flyers, and the founder of the Westside WAR-BIRD Fly-in.

May 20, 2006 is the date set for the 2006 WAR-BIRD Fly-in.

To promote this event we are hosting a War-Bird model show on Saturday May 6’th 2006 at the Oklahoma Museum of Flying. This is the home of Miss America , the famous P-51 Mustang.

The show will be held in the Museum hanger at Wiley Post Airport . The show will start at 0800 hours, and run until noon. This show will bring public attention to the May 20’th flying event.

During this event at 1100 O’clock there will be a Model/Full Scale Safety Meeting by the FAA’S Safety Program Manager, Me.

Please share this news with your members.

Remember this is a War-Bird event. All war-birds are welcome, Scale, Stand-off scale, Profile, Electric, Helicopters.

Blue Skies:

Steve Keesey
