One of the members of Tulsa Glue Dobbers, Austin Chadwick, replicated an F-16 after Tulsa Air Guard's 138th Fighter Wing. This plane is a 1/7th scale and will be flying at the Tulsa Warbirds show this weekend.
Tulsa Glue Dobbers attended the 2018 Maker Faire representing model aviation and our club. TGD was very busy as this show's attendance was much greater than past years. Our thanks to Roy Minut for making arrangements with the Faire staff and Claude Christ, Chip Robertson, Mike Basmajian, and Mike Pennell for manning the booth.
The Tulsa Glue Dobbers were asked to do a static display and foamy fly at the Great Scott Fireworks show at the Chisholm Trail events park. Our thanks to Brandon Chitty, Tim and Larry Schmidt, and Mike and Jaedin Pennell. The show was superb with Tim and Brandon flying much of the time. If you look close in one of the pics you can see Brandon's lite up foamy flying through the fireworks.
The Tulsa Glue Dobbers participated in the 2017 Maker Faire which had a focus on STEM this year. We had a lot of adults and students talking about our airplanes and asking questions about building, radio set up, and flying.

March 15th of 2017 Tulsa Glue Dobbers participated in the aviation day festivities at the Will Rogers Museum in Claremore, OK. The staff was most helpful guarding the airplanes when the children came in mass. A great time was had by all.

Tulsa Glue Dobbers static display at the 2017 Tulsa Home and Garden Show. Each entrance had a specific branch of the armed forces with aircraft to match. We received great exposure for the club and public comments were just great. A big thanks goes to the Home and Garden folks for asking us to participate and help us hang the airplanes.

18 August 2016 Tulsa's Channel 8 came to the field for a video shoot. What a great job they did providing information about the club. Our thanks go out to Keith Taylor and the camera crew for doing such a great job.

Tulsa Glue Dobbers assisting Tulsa Technology Center class with thier aircraft. The students built 3 Cessna 182 airplanes as a class project and brought them to our field for the maiden voyages.
